Aerospace
In the post-covid era, International air travel is expanding at a breathtaking pace. Fortunately, Ten Hammers is building the tools to train personnel faster and cheaper than ever before. Our 3D digital training services are specifically designed to meet the stringent demands of the aviation industry, providing immersive, realistic simulations that enhance safety, efficiency, and technical proficiency.
Through use of digital technologies such as:
- Virtual Reality
- Augmented Reality
- Interactive 3D environments
- Mobile simulations
Airlines and training schools are taking advantage of new ways to reduce the reliance on expensive, fragile, and ever more scarce physical hardware.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Aircraft maintenance is crucial for the safety and reliability of flight operations. Our 3D digital training solutions for aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting offers:
- Highly Detailed Simulations: Engage with lifelike models of various aircraft components, complete with realistic scenarios that replicate common and complex maintenance challenges.
- Interactive Learning Environment: Perform virtual repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures, gaining practical skills in a risk-free setting.
- Instant Feedback and Performance Analysis: Receive real-time feedback on your actions, with comprehensive analytics that track your progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Certification Preparation: Use our simulations to prepare for certification exams with content aligned to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Embraer E Jet Training
As a leading supplier of digital training to operators of the Embraer E-Jet family, Ten Hammers has innovative offerings for some of the most common training bottlenecks of the E170, E175, E190, E195 E and E2 platforms.
Case Study: Extended Reality Door Trainer
Emergency operation of the main entry doors for the Embraer E Jet family has proven to be one of the significant pain points of air cabin crew training for these platforms, our Extended Reality Embraer Door Trainer is the only product on the market that addresses this problem in a cost, space, and labour efficient way.
By requiring only the provision of mixed reality headsets, learners can be trained and assessed in their usage of the main doors on the E Jet platform. This has the benefit of capturing the core learning objectives of door operation - spatial understanding of the opening and closing procedures - without reliance on airframes, cumbersome physical trainers, and the associated maintenance.
For customers to whom a tactile feedback component is a nessecity, an optional physical rig can also be provided as a companion that synchronises to the digital twin.
Case Study: Immersive Language Trainer
Interactive 3D environments are an emerging critical tool for conducting remote training for spatially aware tasks and learning. One useful implementation is teaching language training concepts, with a focus on aviation specific terminology, for English as a second or foreign language speakers. This product was first demonstrated at the 2023 WATS Conference in Orlando, in a collaboration with Aeroclass.org.
